Tailored Workwear

A modern and clean urban look that brings back to life forgotten silhouettes and undervalued fabrics, which echo past skills and craftsmanship.

Garments perceived no longer valid are revived for a clean, very modern look. Down-to-earth and modest style, honest dress. Blend utility and equestrian styles in an urban environment. Organic Cotton

The initiative to design 100% organic cotton content denim fabric was triggered by a customer demand.

Loomstate was the leader on organic cotton content jeans and we believed Loomstate had the right infrastructure to challenge consumer awareness and have supported them with our integrated denim fabric designs of %100 organic cotton content.

To encourage both the jeanswear brands to use organic cotton content products and the farmers to plant organic cotton Orta Anadolu; re-known as a socially responsible company has pledged to use %3 organic cotton in the Ordenim and the Orcotton fabrics and has not reflected the related cost increase in the prices from September 2006 to September 2007.

The intention was well experimented by our customers who have used the %3 organic cotton content as a step for their organic products. We have increased our production capacity for the organic cotton content fabrics to 1million meters and target to have a %50 increase for 2008.

All organic cotton used by Orta Anadolu is Control Union and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) approved.

Medical and therapeutic benefits of silver (Ag) date back thousands of years. The Romans used it to cover wounds, heal infections. Cyrus the Great had his men go to war only if they carried water in silver vessels. Silver balls were thrown into water reservoirs. The royals of the historical empires used silver cutlery to eat and silver coated glasses to drink.

Modern medicine recognizes silver as the most effective anti-microbial natural agent. The use of silver ranges from bandages to burn-care treatments and from hospital bed-sheets to pyjamas marketed by conscious brands. The nobility of silver is filtered into today’s daily life on numerous products where infection control is critical.

D Ag

is antimicrobical: eliminates bacteria. This attribute enables the rigid jeans to extend their worn-in life cycle. The rigid or the laundry treated jeans can "keep the purchased look" as they will not require as many home laundry washes as other pairs of jeans. X-static eliminates 99.9% of bacteria in less than one hour of exposure. The antibacterial property will not wash-off or wear-off.
is natural: non-toxic, safe.
is anti-static: silver has the highest electrical conductivity; rating thus D Ag with 6% of X-static will instantly dissipates electric charges resulting in static-free, comfortable and fashionable jeans.
transfers heat: cooler in summer, warmer in winter. With the proper materials, it is possible to use the existing energy of the body and the environment to actively regulate temperature through heat transfer. Thus the jeans will keep the wearer cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
is anti-odor: bacteria, ammonia and denaturized proteins contribute to odor in apparel. As silver is outside of the yarns of D Ag and as ammonia and denaturized proteins bind with silver, instant odor reduction is detected.

X-static is the silver fiber that has a layer of pure silver permanently bonded to the surface of a textile fiber.

About

Think of your favourite old jeans, that have shared your journeys and memories for years. It evolves and erodes by time. The fabric grows and takes the shape of your buttock, waist and thighs, softening through wear. However if returns to its original shape after wash, getting stiffer and slimmer. Cracks are the gift of your home laundry. Some like the rigid feel of the jeans and create his personal marks and whisker lines. No two pairs of jeans, ageing naturally, are alike. The colour fades but it becomes personalized. Real character. This pair of jeans likes going grey, it gets better with age.

Goldrush

Goldrush revisits constructions and fabric blends that echo the past yet innovated through refined technology. We are seeing a renewed interest in early explorers and pioneers. An industrial vintage mood that explores 1930’s workwear and naval influences and pared down utility styling. We see a significant move towards looser silhouettes reinforcing the trend for still lighter weights. Goldrush explores ‘new blue shades’, such as Acquamarin and Algae, which is inspired by workwear shades, using light indigo dips to create a wide range of indigo shades.

I-Core

I-Core is a very new pure indigo finishing technique developed by Orta's Research and Development Team more than 2 years ago. Thanks to its superior properties, a rich and vivid contrast can naturally be achieved still keeping the handfeel soft. The saturated indigo layer indulges the fabric to get an intense contrast. The weft looks hidden in dark hues and offers an excellent cast and finishing diversity. The versatility of washing is multiplied by the richness of colour. Being an enviorenmental-friendly finish is an asset.

Rough Luxe

"Re-Defined Vintage" continues to be a key influence informing new coarse and noisy constructions and open end looks - making reference to Orta's 30's, 50's and 90's denim archives.

Pronounced yarns, ring effects and fibrous surfaces. Irregular and vertical slubs and neps for a handcrafted aesthetic. Crunchy, salt'n pepper, aggressive looks, crosshatch. LHT constructions.

New green indigo shades Nile, Kingfisher and Cerulean. Yarn dyed black and grey. Colour has had a long lasting impact and has informed denim as flats. A return to a traditional casualwear palette of earthy and neutral shades. Terracotta, mustard, ginger, cinnamon, brown and aged green (as RTD).

Textured stretches are becoming more important emerging for both mens and womens.

Fast Lane

Technology is driving a new family of relaxed elegance. Performance fabrics aimed at fast fashion, comfort, durability. And most important – versatility.
